Taking the step toward therapy takes courage, and I am here to offer you a safe, warm, and supportive space where you can feel truly seen and heard.
My theoretical orientation is integrative. I believe that each individual has unique circumstances, perspectives, and personal characteristics, and therefore requires a counseling approach that is tailored to their specific needs. I use a flexible, integrative approach tailored to each client’s unique story. I am particularly drawn to approaches that emphasize emotional experience and relational context.
Within this integrative approach, I focus on how relationships and emotional experiences shape the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Drawing from an attachment-based perspective, I strive to create a safe and secure space where clients can explore their inner experiences, better understand their emotional needs and relational patterns, and move toward healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
My approach is also informed by a Christian worldview. I believe that each person is created with inherent dignity and worth, and that healing involves not only psychological integration but also a deeper understanding of one’s identity and purpose. When appropriate and desired by the client, I integrate faith into the counseling process in a respectful and client-centered manner.
I strive to provide a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, gain insight, and move toward greater emotional health and wholeness.
